Moving to Mars

Not too many years ago the scientific verdict was that Mars was inhabitable. Now, the architect of Tesler, a gentleman called Elon Musk is planning to colonize it, by sending robots to build modules on the surface and construct living quarters in the underground caverns. Food will be hydroponically grown on the surface. Musk contemplates getting one million people to Mars. In September of this year, SpaceX revealed, an Interplanetary Transport System (ITS) designed to carry at least 100 people to the Red Planet per flight. The brilliance of this spaceship is that its reusability will assist humanity in establishing a permanent, self-sustaining colony on the Red Planet within the next 50 to 100 years. Now, the dream of one enterprising explorer could come true. How often have we heard that dreams can come true and that the impossible is possible? Researching the ancestors has always been a lifelong task involving tedious detective work and multiple records. Yet, with the invention of the internet, we now have easier access to facilitating existing, even hidden information. Georgia Pioneers was added to the new internet during the 1990s. Since this, 1.5 terabytes of old documents such as wills, estates, marriages, obituaries, cemeteries (and much, more) have been added. We recently combined Georgia Pioneers with the other pioneer websites and now offer genealogical records in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee. It is all under one roof. As these websites continue to grow, we are on the track to greater things!
